The perfect event for first-time players or people curious about getting into D&D and seasoned tabletop veterans and DMs alike.
Come celebrate our favorite time of the year at our Holiday D&D Tavern Party!
We’re taking over Hollywood’s historic El Cid theater (a venue that looks like a real-life medieval castle inside) for a spooky, fun filled night with fellow Dungeons & Dragons players, fans, and enthusiasts.
Each guest will receive a free D&D miniature and seven-piece dice set with paid admission. And all guests will receive an event into our free D&D raffle for a dungeon load of fun items such as books, hobby paints, toys, accessories, and more.
This event will feature our exciting D&D Dungeon Battles Live! where we call audience volunteers onto stage to form a party of level 1 characters (we provide the 1st level character sheets) and play through a combat scenario against monster run by one of our guest DMs live at game table live on stage. All monsters will be chosen by a spin of our infamous “Wheel Of Death.”
By attending you will also receive a free invitation to our private Socal D&D Discord server filled with hundreds of local D&D and TTRPG players.
This event is open to anyone 18 years and over whether you currently play D&D or not.
Our events are a great place to meet fellow players and find new D&D gaming groups to join.
This meetup event is for all levels of players and D&D fans.
We have people who have never played, have been playing for less than six months, and who have been playing for 30 years or more.
No D&D experience necessary. If you’re interested in D&D and want to know more about how to play then this is the event for you!

Schedule Of The Evening’s Events:
6:30pm – Doors open, drinks, bar menu food, mingling
7:00pm – Event introductions & raffle
7:30pm – D&D costume and cosplay pageant
8pm – Member and new member introductions (every introduces themselves – name, city, D&D version they play, favorite character type to play)
8:30pm – Dungeon Combat Live! – audience members battle live on stage against a monsters chosen by spinning the Wheel Of Death!
