DESCRIPTION:The perfect event for first-time players or people curious about getting into D&D and seasoned tabletop veterans and DMs alike. \nCome celebrate our favorite time of the year at our Tavern Party Halloween Cosplay Bash! \nWe’re taking over The Dock at Moongoat Coffee in Costa Mesa for a spooky\, fun filled night with fellow Dungeons & Dragons players\, fans\, and enthusiasts. \nEach guest will receive a free D&D miniature and seven-piece dice set with paid admission. And all guests will receive an event into our free D&D raffle for a dungeon load of fun items such as books\, hobby paints\, toys\, accessories\, and more. \nThis special event will feature a super fun Cosplay/Costume Pageant with awards given out for cosplay/costumes in the categories of: Funniest\, Scariest\, Most Creative & more! \n(And\, like all of our events\, you don’t have to dress up in a costume or cosplay to join in the on the fun. Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.) \nThis event will feature our exciting D&D Dungeon Battles Live! where we call audience volunteers onto stage to form a party of level 1 characters (we provide the 1st level character sheets) and play through a combat scenario against monster run by one of our guest DMs live at game table live on stage. All monsters will be chosen by a spin of our infamous “Wheel Of Death.” \nBy attending you will also receive a free invitation to our private Socal D&D Discord server filled with hundreds of local D&D and TTRPG players. \nThis event is open to all ages\, but attendees under 18 years old must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. \nOur events are a great place to meet fellow players and find new D&D gaming groups to join. \nThis meetup event is for all levels of players and D&D fans. \nWe have people who have never played\, have been playing for less than six months\, and who have been playing for 30 years or more. \nNo D&D experience necessary. If you’re interested in D&D and want to know more about how to play then this is the event for you! \nReserve your tickets now and come meet fellow adventures in your area! \nNo animals or pets please. \nSchedule Of The Evening’s Events: \n6pm – Doors open\, food and beverage available for purchase from Moongoat\, mingling \n6:30pm – Event introduction & raffle \n7pm – D&D costume and cosplay pageant \n7:30pm – Member and new member introductions (every introduces themselves – name\, city\, D&D version they play\, favorite character type to play) \n8pm – Dungeon Combat Live! – audience members battle live on stage against a monsters chosen by spinning the Wheel Of Death!
