DESCRIPTION:EVENT OVERVIEW: \nThe perfect event for first-time players or people curious about getting into D&D and seasoned tabletop veterans and DMs alike. \nWe’re taking over the taproom at Modern Times Beer for a fun-filled night with fellow Dungeons & Dragons players\, fans\, and enthusiasts. \nEach guest will receive a free 3D printed D&D miniature figure with paid admission. \nAnd all guests will receive an event into our free D&D raffle for a dungeon load of fun items such as books\, hobby paints\, toys\, accessories\, and more. \nThis event will feature our exciting D&D Dungeon Battles Live! where we call audience volunteers onto stage to form a party of level 1 characters (we provide the 1st level character sheets) and play through a combat scenario against monster run by one of our guest DMs live at game table live on stage. All monsters will be chosen by a spin of our infamous “Wheel Of Death.” \nBy attending you will also receive a free invitation to our private Socal D&D Discord server filled with hundreds of local D&D and TTRPG players. \nThis event is open to anyone 21 years and over whether you currently play D&D or not. \nOur events are a great place to meet fellow players and find new D&D gaming groups to join. \nThis meetup event is for all levels of players and D&D fans. \nWe have people who have never played\, have been playing for less than six months\, and who have been playing for 30 years or more. \nNo D&D experience necessary. If you’re interested in D&D and want to know more about how to play then this is the event for you! \nReserve your tickets now and come meet fellow adventures in your area! \nAll attendees must be 18 years or older. \nNo pets\, no animals. \nNo refunds. DESCRIPTION:HOLIDAY BONUS: Paid admission to this class includes free admission to our Tavern Party event starting at 5pm following this class. \nEvent Overview: \nThis class will teach you everything you need to know in order to play and run Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition games and campaigns. \nA lot of people put off learning how to play D&D because it’s hard to know where to begin.  \nFear not\, this class demystifies the game and gives new players all the tools they need to immediately start playing with friends. \nThis class uses the D&D Starter Set (which you’ll receive a digital copy of) to cover the basics of the three core D&D 5th Edition rules and core books – The Player’s Handbook\, Dungeon Masters Guile\, and Monster Manual. \nYou’ll learn how to create characters\, run campaigns\, conduct in-game combat and spellcasting\, roleplay monsters and NPCs\, reward and level up your players’ characters\, and much more. \nThe first portion of this class we walk you through rules for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition using the Starter Set. The second portion of this class is spent playing out actually D&D combat scenarios with volunteers from the class. \nThis event is open to ages 13 and above ages\, although it’s taught and geared toward adults. Attendees under 18 years old must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. \nLearn While You Play: \nThe class is structured so that you’ll learn how the game works for the first half of the class. Then the second half of the class you’ll play through D&D combat encounters with your fellow classmates using dice\, miniatures and pre-made character sheets to gain first-hand experience how to play. \nPlease note: Food and beverage are not included in the price of the class.
